"Samuel Andrews was a citizen of London. He came to America in the ship
Increase, April 12, 1635, with his family consisting of his wife, Jane, and two
daughters. They had a son Samuel, born at Casco Bay. Mr. Andrews died in 1637,
and his widow married Arthur Mackworth, one of the most respectable settlers of
the Bay. He died in 1657. His widow removed to Boston during the Indian war, in
1657, and died there the year following."
