Hope Chipman was born 13 Aug 1652 in Barnstable. (1)  She married John Huckins on 10 Aug 1670. (2)   He died  8 years later on 20 Nov 1678 leaving her with four young daughters.  She remarried about five years later on 1 Mat 1683 to Jonathan Cobb.(3)  She was 30 years old and Jonathan Cobb was 22.  With Jonathan Cobb she had another 6 children, the last born when she was 42.  She lived to the age of 75 dying in Middleborough on 25 Jul 1728. (4) Her husband, Jonathan Cobb, died 11 days later on 5 Aug 1728.   They had been married for 45 years.
