John Church was born 6 Nov 1687 in Watertown, Middlesex, CT. (1) He married Elizabeth Evans around 1708 and had five children with her in Killingly, Windham, CT.  He must have died, for on 15 Dec 1736 he married Susanna Morris.  In 1638, his father, David Church,  who was 82 years old and the son of Garret Church, bequeathed for love and affection a 25 acre lot in Killingly to John Church. (2) John Church wrote his will on 9 Nov 1687 and it was probated 3 Feb 1748 in Killingly. (3)  In his will he mentioned his wife, Susannah , sons, Jonathan, Abner and John, and daughters, Elizabeth Cady, Mary McCoy, Sarah Cady and Annah Church.
