Anne Coddington appears to be the only child of John Coddington and Anne
Stearn. When her father wrote his will on 18 Feb 1690, he mentioned his
son-in-law, Dixie Coddington. Anne Coddington had married her first cousin,
Dixie Coddington, son of her father's brother, Nicholas Coddington, on 12 Dec
1686. (1) Anne and her husband Dixie Coddington lived in Holmpatrick, Dublin,
Ireland and had at least seven children.
Her husband Dixie Coddington died 22 Jul 1728. After his decease there was
a Chancery Court Case brought on 24 Feb 1729 by an Alexander Hamilton against
Anne Coddington and her son John Coddington, Jr. (2) Anne wrote her own
will on 7 Jun 1736. It was probated on 14 Sep 1736. In her will she
named:
