John Coddington died on 6 Jun 1581 in Coleby, Lincolnshire, England. (1)  His will was written 1 May 1581 and probated 25 Jun 1581. The will names his daughter Elizabeth, his daughter Edythe, his son Robert (under 21 years ), his son Lawrence, his daughters Agnes and Ellyn, his brother Thomas, brother Christopher, brother Edmund, sister Agnes Garfield, witness William Colbie and his wife Kathleen. (2)  His daughter Elizabeth married Christopher Fawcett on 18 Jun 1581 in Boultham, Lincolnshire. (3) His daughter Edythe married Lawrence Craven on 13 Jul 1585 in  Boultham, Lincolnshire, England. (4) His daughter Agnes married John Watson on 21 Aug 1574 in Coleby, Lincolnshire, England. (5) His daughter Ellyn married William Colbie on 23 Sep 1575 in Coleby, Lincolnshire, England. (5)
Notice that in Robert Coddington's will of 1615 he mentions his brother Lawrence, sister Elizabeth Fawcett, and sister Helen Colbie. (6) This comparison reinforces the fact that John Coddington was the father of Robert Coddington.
