Assuming William Coddington was about 25 years old when he married Thomasine Cawton on 24 May 1532, he was probably born about 1607. (1)  He and Thomasine had at least 7 children.  The first four were baptized in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.  Sometime after the baptism of Bridget Coddington on 6 Oct 1639, the family moved to Holmpatick, Ireland. 
He first appears in Ireland on 27 Oct 1647 when he is listed in a Chancery Court record.  The last time he was named in a Chancery Court record was 11 Feb 1656. (2)  He wrote his will on 2 Apr 1657 naming his son Nicholas, daughter Bridget Fish, son Joseph (husband of his daughter Bridget), brother James Coddington and brother-in-law Dawson. Thomasine Cawton, his wife, had a sister name Jane who was married to William Dawson. The will was probated 4 Oct 1657.(3)
