When John Coddington was baptized on 15 Jan 1636 in Lincolnshire, England his father was listed as William Coddington. (1) He married Anne Stearne on 20 Feb 1669 in Ireland. She was from County Meath and he was from Dublin. (2) He was involved in several Chancery Court cases in Dublin. Two of them involved his brother Nicholas Coddington. (3) John Coddington wrote his will on 18 Feb 1690 mentioning his wife Anne and his son-in-law, Dixie Coddington of Holmpatrick, County Dublin. (4) His only known daughter, Anne, had married Dixie Coddington Sr., a son of his brother Nicholas Coddington.
