Will of Grace Coor Pender from N. C. State Archives: In The Name of God Amen I Grace C. Pender Make this as my Last Will and Testament in manner and form Following. Item/ I give and bequeath to my beloved Son John Pender the Whole of my Estate Reale and personal to him and his Heirs for Ever. And I appoint My son John Pender My Executor of this my Last Will and Testament revoking all other Will and testaments in Witness Where of I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this 15th of May An. Her brother Thomas Coor in his will leaves "Friend Grace Pender one Feather
Bed and Furniture" In the division of his land on Jan 1, 1803 she is named
as Grace C. Pender

Fleet Coor, son of Grace Coor's brother Thomas, died in 1807. In his will "Item I
give to my beloved friend John C. Pender Junior my Nance mair, my new shot gun
and money a nuf out of my Estate to buy him a new saddle and bridle to him and
his heirs for ever."
Her son, John C. Pender signed the four documents noted below. They appear to be made by the same person, showing that the signature of the son of Grace C Pender is the same signature as the John C, Pender who died in 1816.
