"Ord that James Eley & Henry Coor in presence of the Inhabitants procession all the Bounds of Land, from Sumton Creek on the east Side the Road from sumton Creek by Coors to south Keey Road Including all the land in the said Bounds: You Are to go round every mans Land & renew the Land Marks."

Thomas Coor

There is no direct proof that Henry Core is the father of Thomas Coor.  However, their land in Nansemond County, VA is in the same vicinity, near Summerton Creek.  Henry's wife seems to be "Grace." and Thomas Coor named one of his daughters, Grace.

 

Henry is on the 1704 Quit Rents of Nansemond County, Virginia as     "Henry Core"

He is  on a  list of Patents Signed October 1706    Nansemond 143 Acres granted to Henry Core Surveyed by thomas Milner Apr. 4, 1706 (1)

 

He is listed in The Cavaliers and Pioneers Abstracts of Virginia Land Patents and Grants Abstracted by Nell Marion Nugent volume three: 1695-1732 Virginia State Library, Richmond, 1979
