Mary Curtiss was born 25 Jul 1711 in Stratford, Fairfield, CT and at the age of 18 married John Patterson there on 4 Jun 1730. (1) He was also 18 years old. She had 12 children in the course of 22 years and had to move several times. Her husband, John Patterson, and their sons were caught up in several land disputesand they moved to Litchfield, Ct in 1754 and finally to Piermont, NH in 1772. She died 18 Jul 1789 at the age of 77. Her husband lived to the age of 94.
