William Fenner was named as a son in the will of his father, Richard Fenner, in 1734. (1) He appeared in several Chancery Court Records in Dublin between 1727 and 1752. In 1739 both he and a Samuel Fenner were listed as defendants and in 1751 he was listed as a defendant along with his son Richard Fenner. (2) He died in 1754 and the estate of William Fenner Gentleman, Esq. was probated 15 Nov 1754 naming his children. (3) Assuming the children are listed in their birth order, Richard Fenner appears to be the oldest son and thus named after the father of William Fenner.
