The will of Mary Fry is one of the oldest wills extant in the country. It was taken 19/Jan/1655. She enumerated what she was leaving to her daughters, sons, sister and "cosens". "I give to my sonne Gabriell, my house, land, cattle and swine, with all other goodes reall and psonall in Pequest or any other place, and doe make him my sole executor to this my will."
