He m. (rec. Woodbury) 12 July 1684, Elizabeth Lum, who was bapt. at Woodbury, May 1683.  Justice Richbell performed the marriage ceremony.

Inv. of Benjamin, Sr. who d. 26 May 1727, made 26 Oct 1727. Agreement of heirs (mentioning the heir of Rachel) was signed by Noah Hinman, John and Elizabeth Hurd, Benjamin, Jr., and Hannah Hurd, Nathan and Eunice Hurd, Samuel and Annis Martin, Wait Hinman, Ephraim Baldwin, and Mercy Hinman.

Will of Benjamin Hinman 1727 We whose names are hereunto subscribed do for our selves and our heirs covenant and agree.  Each with other ---on the estate left by our Honoured Father Benjamin Hinman at his decease, is as followeth. Vix.  that each of the --Daughters that is Hannah, Elizabeth, Eunice, Annis the Heirs of Rachel and Mercey, shall have the sum of one hundred fifty ? pounds, each of them, with what they have already as Portion ? in our Father's life.
The remaining part of the Estate whom our Mothers part or third is taken out, shall be Noah Hinmans and Wait Hinmans. it is to be ? that our Mother's third is the third part of the moveable Estate according to the inventory of our Father's estate. and that this is our agreement  ----
