John Huckins was christened 2 Aug 1649 in Barnstable. (1) He married Hope Chipman on 10 Aug 1670. (2) He was constable of Barnstable in 1672, and was commissioned Commissary General in King Phillip's War December, 1675. He died on 20 Nov 1678 when he was 29 leaving a widow and four daughters. (3) His widow, Hope, married again to Jonathan Cobb.
