Melatiah Lothrop was born in Barnstable on 2 Nov 1646 and married Sarah Farrar on 20 May 1567. (1)  They were married for 45 years and  had 8 children.  They died within three months of each other.  Melatiah wrote his will on 29 Oct 1711 and died on 6 Feb 1711/12.  (2)
