Rachel Morton was born 18 of 10th month 1694 in Armagh, Ireland. Her parents were listed as William and Elinor Morton. (1) She married John Blackburn at a Rich Hill Meeting in Armagh on 16 3rd month 1717. (2) They had 8 children born in Ireland and then they immigrated to York, PA in 1736 when her youngest child was about 3 years old. There is no death record recorded in the Menallen or Warrington Quaker Meeting records, However she was alive in 1752 when her husband wrote his will.
