Based on the date of birth of their first child, Sarah Osborn was probably born about 1640 in Connecticut, and she probably married John Peet about 1662. (1) They had 7 children and then her husband died in Jan 1678 leaving her with her youngest child only three months old.  She remarried 7 years later on 25 Mar 1685 to John Brooks.  (2) Her son, Benjamin Brooks, was born 7 months later on 17 Oct 1685. (3) Her husband, John Brooks, wrote his will on 11 Mar 1694 naming his "only son" Benjamin Brooks and brother-in-law John Osborn.  The will was probated on 20 Ma 1694. (4)  There was no mention of his wife, Sarah.

(1) Their first child was born 26 Dec 1663. 
In his will, her husband John Peet named his wife as Sarah and referred to his brother John Osborn.  And there was a deed of gift from Richard Osborn in 1682 (see 3)
