"Experience Porter was born at Hadley, Mass., 5, Aug. 1676. He married Abigail Williams, 26, May 1698.  He was a Selectman for many years and took part in the Indian Wars.  About 1725, he removed to Mansfield, Conn., where he died 28, Aug. 1750."
