Confirmed by the "old book" of William Smith, son of Obadiah, who states "...this Obadiah Smith was the son of John Smith who's wife's name was Hannah Dast (though it looks like "Dwarf" in the handwriting in the old book - this John Smith came from England and settled in Charles City County in Virginia"
