"Samuel Storrs (4th) was also known as "Captain Samuel, but he died before his
father, Oct., 28, 1776, in his forty-seventh year. His granddaughter, Mrs.
Hannah G. Cone of Wilmington, Conn., says of him: "My grandfather Storrs died
before my remembrance, but I have heard my mother say he was a tall, stately
man, like most of his kin."
Jehial, eldest son of Samuel and Huldah Snow Storrs was born in Hartford, Conn.,
and married Rachel Mc Call, "of Scotch descent."
