"Peter (Pierre) Videau, planter, & Jane Elizabeth his wife, (& with her free
consent), to Andrew Rembert, shoemaker, of Berkeley Co.,) for 25 pounds
currency, 30 a. (part of 100 a.), bounding NW on Andrew Deveau (formerly
Philymon Parmeter), NE on Johnson Lynch; SE on Andrew Rembert; SW on other part
of 100 a; provided Andrew Lambert & Judith his wife, or any of their children
possess it; but not to dispose of the 30 a. to any one but Peter Videau or
his son, Henry Joseph, he or they paying as much as anyone else would.
Jane Elizabeth renounces her dower. Whereas William, Earl of Craven,
Palatine, & the Lords Proprs. on 9 Sept. 1696 granted Peter Videau 100 a.,
English measure, in Berkeley Co., on E. side Cooper River, now Videau sells 30
a. to Lambert with a proviso. Witnesses: Louis Mouzon, Anthony Bonneau,

Henry Joseph Videau, planter, only son & heir of Peter Videau, & Anne his wife,
to their sister, Jane Bonneau, widow of Jacob Bonneau, planter, all of Berkeley
co., for tender love & affection, 102 a. in Berkeley Co. Whereas Peter
Videau, planter, (father of Henry Joseph & Jane) soon after Jacob Bonneau
married daughter Jane, in 1709, Jacob & Jane Bonneau 102 a. in St. Thomas
Parish, Berkeley co., bounding NE & SE on James Bremar; NW & SW on John Pagett;
& Jacob & Jane enjoyed the land until about 1734 when Jacob died intestate; then
Jane held the land but the deed was lost through accident; now Henry & Ann
Videau confirm Jane Bonneau in her possession. Witnesses: John Bonnit, John
