From "The Wales Family: A Genealogy" by
Charles P. Wales "He was a soldier and P.S. during the Revolution while he lived in Connecticut, probably in Union. In 1778 he exchanged his farm in Union for his brother Oliver's farm in South Brimfield. He was a Deacon in the Baptist church of South Brimfield. In 1787 Elijah and Oliver Wales traded farms a second time and Elijah returned to Union. |
