Edward Walker married Mary Daniel sometime before 1725 and  first appeared in the records in a deed in Essex dated October 18, 1726. He was a witness to this deed along with his father-in-law, William Daniel. The very next deed recorded in the deed book was for a transaction from Joseph Berry to William Daniel. (1)  In 1744 Edward obtained 100 acres of land in Orange Co VA from John Baylor.(2) He wrote his will when he was about 75 years old naming his sons, James, William and John. We also know Mary was his daughter from the Autobiography of her husband, George Twyman. (3)  The will of Edward Walker was proved 19 Aug 1776 in Culpeper Co VA. (4) His personal estate was inventoried on 17 Feb 1777 with a value of a little over £41. (5)
