When Isabel traveled to the Colonies in 1635 with her sons Richard and
William, her age was listed as 70 years old, making her born about 1565. (1) She
married Symon Tuttle about 1592 since her eldest son, Richard was born about
1593. Her father, John Wells, in his will of 1617 he named her as
"daughter Tootell" (2) and in her husband's will, Symon Tuttle mentioned £20 given to
his son William Tuttle by
his grandfather, John Welles. (3)
Her husband, Symon Tuttle, died in 1630. Five years later she boarded The
Planter with her two sons. There are no records of her after that.
