  • Apphia Quicke married Samuel Freeman, son of John Freeman and Precilla Angelo, at Blackfriars, London, England, on 14 July 1624.
  • Apphia Quicke married second after 1 July 1644 Thomas Prence, son of Thomas Prence.2
  • Apphia Quicke died before 1 August 1668.
  • Eldest daughter and co-heiress. Was in New England 9 Nov 1630 when the Mass. Bay Records, vol.1, p.81, states that at "A Court of assistants holden at Boston, November 9, 1630" "Mr. Clearke is prohibited cohabitac'on and frequent keeping company with Mrs. Freeman under paine of such punishment as the Court shall thinke meete to inflict." "Mr. Clearke and Mr. Freeman both bound themselves in XXL apeece that Mr. Clearke shall make his personal appearance att the nexte Court, to be holden in March nexte, and in the meane tyme to carry himselfe in good behavr towards all people and especially towards Mrs. Freeman concerneing whome there is strange suspicion of incontinency." This attack on her reputation, however, could not have carried much weight as she was later married to Governor Prence himself (his third wife). She did not accompany her husband on his trip back to England and they were possibly estranged for a number of years, as the birth dates of their only two children would indicate.
Anderson says married Thomas Prence "after 1 July 1644", and asigns Thomas' daughter Judith, b. abt 1645 to "perhaps" Apphia Quick.
