  • Nicholas Snow was born circa 1605.
  • He married Constance Hopkins, daughter of Stephen Hopkins and a wife (name unknown), before 1627.4
  • Nicholas Snow died on 15 November 1676 at Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts.5
  • He came to Plymouth in 1623, aboard the Anne later removed to Eastham. He was a carpenter. He is on the 1633 list of Plymouth Colony Freeman, and in 1639 on the list of Freeman of Eastham. During his life he held a number of offices including Deputy, Surveyor of Highways, Grand Jury, Coroner's Jury, Excise Collector, etc. Anderson says that he is "possibly" the Nicholas Snow, son of Nicholas Snow, baptized at St. Leonard's Shoreditch, London on 25 Jan 1599/1600 (see TAG 14:229). Three other children were born to Nicholas and Constant between probably 1646 and 1650, living in 1651, whose names are not known and of whom there are no additional records.5
  • His will was dated on 14 November 1676 proved 5 Mar 1676/77, called Nicholas Snow of Eastham. His will is dated 14 Nov 1676, proved 5 Mar 1676/1677, names his sons Mark, Joseph, Steven, Jabez, to his "loving wife Constant Snow, all my stock of cattle, sheep, horses, swine, whatsoever, to be at her disposal for the comfort and support of her life..."
