Additional research is required on this matter. Just what WHITE man, Abigail is a widow of, has not been discovered. The original Falmouth records should be examined.1

- On 29 September 1726 John White of Gloucester in the County of Essex and Province of Massachusetts Bay in New England, Clerk, in consideration of a wood lot and fencing a pasture, "which wood lot was conveyed to me & which fence was made for me by my son, John White of Gloucester aforesaid in the County aforesaid, tanner," conveys to John White (the son) land situate and being in Falmouth in the County of York at a place called Pappoodock. The home lot bounded by the lots of Benjamin and Josiah Wallis. The wood lot adjoining to the Fresh Marsh and my part of the Great Fresh Marsh. Also my interest in House Island.
