Travelers Rest
Ada Brown Durham, 94, of Magnolia Place, formerly of Frank Brown Road, wife of the late Robert E. Durham, died Wednesday evening, April 2, 2003, at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Frank N. and Melissa Stokes Brown. Mrs. Durham was retired from Westboro Weaving Co. and was the oldest member of Forestville Baptist Church.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mae Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, O.E. Brown and Troy Brown; and two sisters, Lois B. Roach and Laura Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday at Forestville Baptist Church, with burial at Enoree Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday evening at The Howze Mortuary.
The family will be at their respective homes.
