Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Langley Satterfield, 75, wife of the late W.A. Satterfield, will be conducted Friday at 4:30 p.m. at the Mackey Mortuary by Dr. J. Dan Williams. Burial will be in Springwood Cemetary.

Pallbearers will be Charles W. Mears, Jack Keys, A.T. (Sandy) Allen, R.K. Campbell, E. M. West and Leonard J. Hall.

Honorary escort will be deacons and members of the Lottie Moon Sunday School Class of Northgate Baptist Church.

Mrs. Satterfield died Thursday at 6:15 a.m. in a local rest home following one year of declining health and a serious illness of three and one-half weeks.

Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Mansfield H. and Sylvester Jane Miller Langley. She had made her home in Greenville for 34 years.

Mrs. Satterfield was a charter member of Northgate Baptist Church and was active in the work of the church as long as her health permitted.

She is survived by three daughters Mrs. O.E. Brown, Mrs. C.B. Herron, and Miss Mary Satterfield of Greenville, five sons, C.H. Satterfield, W. B. (R?) Satterfield, R.O. Satterfield, and H. E. Satterfield of Greenville and C. J. Satterfield of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla; one brother, William Clarence Langley of Greenville; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Eva married William Augustus Satterfield, son of John Belton O'Neal Satterfield and Amanda E. Davis. (William Augustus Satterfield was born on 6 Mar 1877 in Oconee Co, SC, died on 15 Feb 1944 in Greenville, SC and was buried in Springwood Cemetary, Greenville, SC.)
