John Paterson's Sister

Note:  John Paterson's Father, also John, married Mary Ross, daughter of Alexander Ross & Elizabeth Falconer.  He was probably widowed circa 1846
and believed to have married again.
His first wife Mary probably died in child birth after their second son John was born in 1844.

Could this be a half sister to his second wife

The spelling of Leach - Leitch is noted to have changed according to census records of Ardersier
