Located in the present-day town of McLeansville, Guilford Co, North Carolina, Bethel Presbyterian was originally part of the Cedar Creek Church, formed in 1812, and then located near Gibsonville. Sometime during 1815, Cedar Creek Church was moved and its name was changed to Bethel.
