Unknown Family Pictures
 
 
These pictures once belonged to my grandparents, Redic BRYAN (1870-1929) and Myrtie HAIRSTON (1880-1927). My grandparents and their families lived in Erath, Baylor, Knox, Howard, and Falls Counties in Texas. A few of the pictures may have belonged to my BRYAN aunts who lived most of their lives in Borger, Texas. Most of the pictures on this page were probably taken in Texas, however, some may have been taken in Hinds County, MS, Bienville Parish, LA, or at various locations in CA or OK.
 
 
Family names include ALBRITTON, BIGGS, BRYAN, CHISUM, CRISWELL, EVANS, GILBERT, GRESHAM, HAIRSTON, HAMMETT, KEITH, LATTA, NOAH, PYLE, SELMAN, THOMPSON, and WYLIE.  

 

 

 This baby looks like my Aunt, DeRay Bryan. Another family member thought that it was my father? Do you have this picture? This was probably taken in Baylor County.  DeRay Bryan in the center, front row. Marie is to her right.  Millard Ray Latta is the tall one in the back.

 
 

This is probably in Baylor County. It may have been a Woodsman Circle. My aunt, Marie Bryan is in the center row, 5th from the left.

 

 

 Wanda may have been married to my father's brother, Hairston "Buster"Bryan. Buster died in 1940. Wanda's maiden name may have been Williams.  She had a son, Randal.

 
Who is this little boy with the puppies? Or are they goats?

This picture is marked "Bell Blanks." Did she live in Seymour?  J.D. Blanks was a family friend in Seymour at the time that my grandfather died in 1929.
Is this a Biggs or a Hammett cousin?  Could this be a Hairston, Noah or Thompson?

 

 This looks as if it could be Whit or Buster Bryan.  It could also be a cousin? Does anyone have this picture?
Is this my grandmother, Myrtie Bryan, or could this be a Bryan or Hairston cousin? Couple and dog with a hat. Look at the old car.
