The 2nd photo of Andrew
Gould & his youngest children was "taken in 1922 by Nellie Watson."

This is exactly as is written on the back of the photo, including the ages. Etta, or Luetta/Louetta (unsure of spelling, but will confirm soon, I hope), is the youngest of Andrew & Naomi's children, and, I believe, is not listed on the Phillips website. At least I didn't see her in Eric Conard's list. She is the only living member of this family. When her parents died, she went to live in Pennsylvania with her sister Georgie Gould Wells (married Claude Wells). Etta, who married a Calledine (according to my grandfather's obituary), lives in California, Pa.

My father and I can only
swear to the identities of my two great-grandfathers:
William Ellsworth "Bert"
Fowler -- first row, third from right, wearing white shirt & has mustache.
He was called Bert, not
"Bird" as is printed in W. B. Cutright's History of Upshur County.
He married Emma Bean.
Andrew Gould -- in 2nd row behind Bert and slightly to the left, wearing a bowtie, also has a mustache. Andrew Gould married Naomi Loudin.
Others that my dad ID'd...
George McCue -- In back
row, middle...he is the only bald one. Also, he has a little
girl standing in front of him, presumably his daughter.
My father thinks the little
girl might be Zelphy (Zelphie?) McCue.
Lothrop "Lote" Newcome --
Front row, third from left. He married Flossie Bean.
The
man in the front row, 2nd from left, next to Lote NEWCOME, would be my
grandfather, Benjamin Elbridge BEAN, brother to Lote's wife, Flossie

Lothrop Phillips -- Right
side of picture, with very long white beard. John, look at
the guy behind Lothrop (or the alleged Lothrop...maybe it's not him)
-- doesn't that guy look
like the kids in the Lothrop Phillips family picture? Maybe an older version
of the guy in the hat?

gentleman directly behind Lothrop, appears to have a mustach where-in the
man that is in the Lothrop Family Picture does not. Now the man to
the left of the man behind Lothrop, appears to be the same man, a little
older, as is in the family picture .... john
