I wish I could find my sister, Elain Berg. Elain was born in Worcester,
Massachusetts in 1930. We have never met.
Update......
September of this year (2001) , we got together. After having never
seen each other, we finally met. Our quest is over thanks to Rootweb
and the message boards.
This
picture was sent to me from a lady in Shelburne Falls and shows Elain in
about 1944.
It was about 1992 when I first discovered I had a sister. it was told to me by a woman who I never knew why she knew me.
Elain was in Shelburne Falls at the time of my birth. She lived with a family on Main Street in Shelburne Falls by the name of Blodgett. I have been trying to find more about her since. I do know that a cousin Harold Phillips knew her for she and he sang in the church choir. She attended The Kern Hatten School in Bellows Falls Vt.. I have spoken with a man who taught at the school and he vaguely remembers her. I have contacted the school and they cannot link her name to a name in their data base of Alumni.; however they do have an annual mailing they do to the Alumni and stated they would place a notice in it. That was two years ago (1999) and I have heard nothing.
