Will of CHARLOTTE  POWELL 1802c - 1864   of East Lavant Sussex

 

THIS IS THE LAST WILL & TESTAMENT of me, CHARLOTTE POWELL, of  East Lavant Chichester Sussex  widow who being of sound mind arrange my temporal affairs in a manner following. That is to say First I direct that all my just debts, funeral expenses and the costs and charges of moving this my Last Will and Testament be fully paid. I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH all my household goods and furniture, money due owing, or is belonging to me, or payable at my decease  with the residue of my personal estate all and every my Freehold Leashold and copyhold messuages tenements land and hereditaments whatsoever and wheresoever situate lying or being where in or whereto I am in any manner seized possessed or entitled either in possession reversion or expectancy and over which I have any disposing or right or power unto CHARLOTTE POWELL , (Wife of EDMUND POWELL, Armourer in the Royal Navy) now residing in Chichester Sussex, her heirs , Executors, Administrators and assigns for ever according to the different natures and qualities thereof  I hereby  Nominate, Constitute and Appoint  CHARLES GROOM of Landport, in the County of Southampton, Sailmaker and Ship Chandler, (Brother of the said Charlotte Powell) Sole executor of this my Last Will & Testament, Hereby  Revoking all former Wills, by me made. I  DECLARE and ACKNOWLEDGE   this only to be and contain my last Will and Testament.
