    Jan. 15, 1819,  Israel Burnam, of Lyndeborough, N.H., "in the sixtieth year of my age," deposed :
that in December, 1775, he enlisted for one year, under Capt. Jones, Col. Read, 2nd N. H. line ; marched to
Winter Hill, Mass., and served until Dec. 1, 1776, about fifteen days before his time was out, when he received
a furlough signed by Dr. Green, Surgeon of the regiment at Albany, N. Y. ;
that he served also in several other campaigns for nearly two years, but not more than 8 months at any one time;
has lost his furlough, but refers to affidavits of James Gilman and Joshua Burnam.

  Same day, Joshua Burnam, of Milford, N.H., and James Gilman, of Mason, N.H.., testified to personal knowledge
of the service of Burnam as stated.

  Memorandum. Name not found on rolls. Admitted on testimony, under oath, of two persons, certified to be credible witnesses.
  claim allowed and certificate 17162, N.H. Agency, was issued May 26, 1820.
  Feb. 13, 1822, Israel Burnam, of Lyndeborough, New Hampshire, aged 62 years, testified that he is a laborer by
occupation; and that his family, residing with him. consists of his mother, aged 86 years, and one son, aged 26 years,
who is blind.
                    Pension continued.

   March 21, 1829,Israel Burnham, of  Leyden, Lewis Co., N.Y., asked to have his pension transferred as he has
moved to Leyden " that he might enjoy the privilege of living with his son, Parker Burnham, and as he had no wife living
it was the wishes of his son to have him remove."
