In the Rosehill Cemetery, Fayetteville, Lincoln County TN:
There is a large recent stone with just the family name  Burnam,  then the stones for James and Mary.
 James's stone looks to be much more weathered and worn although he died later.
 The 1838  appears to  possibly have been put on the stone at a different time than the death date.
The quality of the "lettering" of the numbers is different but matches  the lettering of his name.
Mary's stone appears to have modern style lettering and numbers which are very clear on a clean stone.
