Garret pioneered a family in Ashe County, North Carolina. His mother Catharine also went to Ashe County after her husband William died. His sisters Harriet Elizabeth, and Hannah also had families in Ashe County

 

John left descendants in Indiana, Missouri, and Oregon on his way westward. A grandson and grand-daughter left descendants in Central California.

 

Christian and Frederick stayed in Rowan County, North Carolina with their families.

 

William, Jr. had a family in adjacent Iredell County.

 

Henry and family migrated to Illinois and his wife and some of his children went to Kansas, leaving descendants.
