Jumbled Jottings

(Department of Officer's Idle Chatter)

Note to men and O's on way back to us from Reple Deples:

Hurry, Hurry, things are happening and you should be in on them.

Note to Capt. C. C. Van Wagoner: Dear Charlie: You would have enjoyed being at the C. P. when Major Froncillo payed us a visit. There was much good talk; everyone agreed he looked like a million dollars. Hope you can meet up with "Pillbox 41 Hamilton" and Marvin the Mighty, and bring them back with you. Their gangs miss them. If you're in Paree I hope you meet Lt Demnark -- he knows the Montmarte like you know war.

Haliburton the Handsome, Major Sam Carter and Mr. Booth left for the States under the re-deployment plan. A gay going away party was held at Campbell's Trocadero with the Prince Limber as host.

Captains Synowsky and Clarke Johnson are taking leaves at the Riveaiera. Lt. Harry Carey is back with his Alma Mater, Freddie Pfeiffer has Baker Company. Reds executive is Major Robert Murphy. "Willie" Ryles is George Cole's able successor.

Decoy White is strong (See the line-up in other parts of this issue.) Recent party by the 6 showed they're back in rare form, faint and pleasant shades of the Clinton at Weymouth.
