"How to Nip 'Em in the Bud"

While clearing a house in the Harz Mts. Corporal Jack Elliot, a rifleman in 'G' Co. discovered romance in full bloom. Ordinarily Elliot has nothing against Cupid and consequences, but when he caught a Wermacht soldier and his fraulein lost in a passionate embrace on a bed in one of the rooms, he wasted no time in parting them.

The fact that the lovers were scantily dressed didn't impress the Decoy doughboy in the least, and after firing a shot from his M-1 into the ceiling, ordered the amorous Nazi to "get your clothes on and git". The shocked couple hastened to obey, and without even a farewell kiss the German departed for the PW Cage.
