Glen J. Harden   
Glen J. Harden, 73, died Feb. 21, 2006, at his home. He was born in Phillips, Texas, and lived in Stuart for 36 years, coming from Jacksonville. 

He graduated from Johns Hopkins University. 

He served as a sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. 

He owned and operated the Little Shopper and in 1977 established A-Harden Bail Bonds in Stuart, serving as a bondsman until retirement in 2002. 

Survivors include his wife, Mary M. Harden of Stuart; daughters, Glenda Matesic of Vero Beach, Gayla Gayden of Richmond, TX and Ann Hamblin of Southhaven, MS.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. 

SERVICES: A celebration of life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Feb. 24 at First United Methodist Church in Stuart, with the Rev. L.C. Campbell officiating. 

Arrangements are by Martin Funeral Home & Crematory, Stuart.
