Dear Children
I will try wonst maer to write a few lines I wold not say a few lines but
I do not feel very well but I want to so bad for I am so lonsom feal so much
maer so when I ant well I have come to Marchell town to stay a few
days get me a few things for winter Well I do hope you are all
well and doing well the rest of thu famley as fer as I no Fannie
Landes has a nother baby a boy Since I last wrote to you not Stout tha
have moved to Conred and I suppose Linleys wife will be sick about the midel
next month is very porley in health now I have thought so much of you in my
lonley evenings if you cold onley come over and viset me but it is so and I
have to contin my self
Well Dear ones I and Linley has got some cards for all our famley and, Aunt,
Ruth Wileys Aunt Fannie Lundey thu was sent to us from New Jersey I suppose
thu Dr, had sent Faters name to them on the death role So we will send
yours with this letter in Remembrance of Father
I wold be verey glad you cold come and see us this winter if you cold do hit
if you cold with out scakrificen to much if it is god will if not meete me
in haven I cant heare a word from Beorge nor John to tell them of
Fathers death my love ever to you and little boys granma loves you dearley

Dear Children,
I will try once more to write a few lines. I would not say a few
lines, but I do not feel very well. But, I do want too so bad
for I am so lonsome; feel so much more so when I'm not well. I have
come to Marshaltown to stay a few days and get me a few things for winter.
Well, I do hope you are all well and doing well. The rest of the
family, as far as I know, Fannie Landes has another baby boy.
Since I last wrote to you, not (Nate)Stout 's have moved to Conred; and I
suppose Linley's wife will be sick about the middle of next month---is
poorly in health. Now I have thought so much of you in my lonely evenings.
If you could only come over and visit me; but it is so, and I have to
contain myself. Well dear ones, I and Linley has got some cards for
all our family. Aunt Ruth Wileys, Aunt Fannie Lundey, tho was sent to
us from New Jersey. I suppose tho, Doctor had sent Father's name to
them on the death role.
So, we will send yours with this letter in rememberance of father.
I would be very glad you could come and see us this winter, if you could do
it. If you could without scarificing too much; if it is God's will if
not, meet me in heaven.
I can't hear a word from George nor John to tell them of Fathers death.
My love ever to you, and little boys' grandma loves you dearly
