The following notes may help you to interpret the data in the entries on the Website

I use the notation
[b 1913]
to indicate the year in which the person was born.
This date may be
- the year in which the birth was registered
- calculated from ages in the census, or other source
Only when it is shown as
[b 11th February 1913]
does it represent the true date of birth
The same convention is used to indicate the year in which the person died.
These can be combined to indicate the birth and death of an individual
[1913-1980]
I use the notation
[Q3 1913]
to indicate the quarter of the year in which an event occurred:
- Q1 = January / February / March
- Q2 = April / May / June
- Q3 = July / August / September
- Q4 = October / November / December
