S1522, Great Grandson Of John Stansfeld S1581 These Arms In Elland
Church, Which No Longer Exist, Were Described In Foster�S Visitation
Of Yorkshire, 1584, And Are Recorded In The College Of Heralds :
The Herald's College describes the arms as
Sable (black), three goats trippant Argent (silver)
each with a collar about its neck and Bell Or (gold)
