The Epitaph 


Here lieth the body of
William Pool, of Halifax,
who was buried the 4th
day of December 1754
in the 60th year of his age.
   
Also Elizabeth, his wife,
the daughter of Mr
Joseph Wilkinson, vicar
of Halifax, who depart
ed this life the 19th of
March 1769, aged
74 years.
   
Also the body of
Wilkinson Pool, of
Halifax, who was
Tyler to the Free Mason
Lodge of Probity 31 years,
which office he filled
with zealous fidelity.
He was changed to
the Lodge above Aug.
8th 1802, aged 71 years
