The following documents mention Mary Priestley and members of her family


Marie Broadley of Sowerby, widow of Mr John Broadley, made a will 28 February 1625/6.


She gives her son Benjamin a silver cup and John the equivalent in goods or money, a pair of linen sheets each and her bed with all its furniture to both sons.

To her son Henry Wade £40 for the upkeep of Benjamin Wade.

To her daughter Marie all her bedclothes and to her three daughters, Sara, Judith and Marie the rest of her goods.

Daughter Marie sole executrix and appeared for probate.

Witnesses: Joseph Priestley, Edward Farnell
