      Caroline Clatterbuck was born on November 21, 1851, the youngest daughter of William Getter Clatterbuck and Caroline Leopard. Caroline married George Willis Wilson on January 4, 1871. He was the son of Robert Wesley Wilson and Martha Pasty Griffin. George was born on April 5, 1848. George and Caroline were first cousins once removed. George died on October 5, 1922. Caroline died on April 1, 1934. They are buried in Hopewell Cemetery.

      The Children of Caroline Clatterbuck and George W. Wilson were:

      Charles Hamilton Wilson b. August 3, 1872 d. December 10, 1918
      "Ham Wilson died in the 1918 flu epidemic after caring for his cousin, Ova Pierce Wilson's family.


      Here is his obituary:
      Dec, 1918, "Pnuemonia caused death, Hamilton Wilson contracted disease while waiting on family of cousin."

      Hamilton Wilson, 46 years old, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Wilson of west of New Bloomfield, died of pneumonia Tuesday afternoon, December 10 at the home of his cousin, Ova P. Wilson. Deceased was a brother of Mrs. Arthur T. Bullard of east of Ashland.

      His death was the third that has occured at the O.P. Wilson home in ten days, says the Fulton Gazetter. The first was Lucy Lee, eight year old daughter of Mr. Wilson, and the second was Mrs. Wilson. Mr. Wilson went to the O. P. Wilson home when the members of the family became ill for the purpose of assisting in caring for them. He became ill himself a few days later and was never able to make headway against the disease. Affable and kind, Hamilton Wilson had a wide circle of friends. He united with Dry Fork Church in his youth. The funeral and burial took place at Hopewell. Rev. C.A. Mitchell conducted services.

      William Robert Wilson b.April 28, 1874 d. September 14, 1928
      William married Susie Mary Lynes,
      the daughter of James Larkin Lynes and Elizabeth Hyten on
      September 17, 1901.
      Susan was born on August 12, 1877 and died April 16, 1965.
      They are both buried at Hopewell Cemetery.

      Woodford H. Wilson b. April 5, 1876 d. November 7, 1944
      Woodford married Mellie C. Lynes,
      the daughter of Joseph R. Lynes and Mary C. Brahham
      on April 4, 1906.
      Mellie was born on November 9, 1872 and died July 13, 1937.
      Woodford and Mellie are buried in New Bloomfield Cemetery.
      They had one daughter, Mary Gladys.
      Mary Gladys was born April 21, 1908 and died on October 15, 1908.
      She is buried at New Bloomfield Cemetery.

      Nina E. Wilson b. May 14, 1878 d. 1880
      Nina is buried at Dry Fork Cemetery.

      Grover Cleveland Wilson b. September 28,1884 d. December 19, 1954
      Grover married Erma M. Jones,
      daughter of Willis "Pomp" Jones and Sarah Ada Hudson on
      November 24, 1909
      Grover and Erma are buried in Hopewell Cemetery.

      They had one son, Glen W.

      Bertha "Bessie" Wilson b. July 20, 1882 d. December 29, 1968
      Bessie married Arthur Tennessee Bullard,
      son of Marcus Bruce Bullard and Eliza Catherine Spry,
      on October 11, 1902.
      They had no children. They are buried in New Salem Cemetery, in Ashland, Boone County, Missouri.

      Mrs. Bullard, Ashland dies
      Mrs. Bessie W. Bullard, 86, former resident of Ashland, died Sunday at a Columbia retirement center.
      Mrs. Bullard was born July 30, 1882, west of New Bloomfield, the daughter of George W. and Caroline Clatterbuck Wilson. She was married to Arthur T. Bullard in Ashland, October 22, 1902. He survives.Mrs. Bullard attended Stephens College, Columbia and was a music teacher. She was member of the New Salem Baptist Church since 1911.Other survivors include a niece and a nephew.
      Funeral services will be held at the Burnett Funeral Chapel; Ashland at 11 am Tuesday, The Rev. Jack Rowley will officiate. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery, north of Ashland.
