Mrs. Clatterbuck dies at Boydsville (June 26, 1941)
Funeral Services held Saturday afternoon at Dry Fork for Callawegian
Mrs. Callie Clatterbuck, 72 years old, wife of Renie Clatterbuckm died Thursday at her home west of Boydsville, of a complication of diseases. She recently returned to Callaway after visiting at the home of a daughter in St. Louis.
Funeral Services were conducted at 2:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Dry Fork Baptist Church, west of Guthrie, by the Rev. Lloyd Sapp of Ashland, and burial was in Dry Fork cemetery.
Surviving Mrs. Clatterbuck besides her husband are six of a family of eight children. She also leaves three sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Laura Hudson, Mrs. Ory Smith, and Mrs. Carl Wilson, of Guthrie, Waller Clatterbuck of Topeka, Kansas, and Ove Clatterbuck of St. Louis.
Mrs. Clatterbuck had been a member of Dry Fork Church since young girlhood. Her passing brings sincere regret to a wide circle of friends in the county.

William married Ruby Hendricks on January 2, 1924. They had three Children: Norma Lee, Glenda and William "Billy" Link.
Clatterbuck Rites Scheduled Friday-Ashland
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday at the Ashland Baptist Church for William Thomas Clatterbuck, 67, who lived on a farm northeast of Ashland near Englewood.
Mr. Clatterbuck died apparently following a heart attack. he was found dead Wednesday at the barn by his wife who investigated after he failed to return to the house in due time.
Mr. Clatterbuck was born in Callaway County, Nov 15, 1892. The son of Lorenzo and Caroline Clatterbuck. he was a farmer most of his life.
He was married to the former Miss Ruby Hendericks in 1924. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eddie Nichols, Ashland and Mrs. Walter Garrett jr who lives east of Englewood; one son, William Clatterbuck who lives Northeast of Ashland; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hinshaw of the state of Englewood community; three brothers, Forrest and Newman, both of the state of Texas, and Luther who also lives northeast of Ashland; and his father.
Officiating at the funeral will be the Rev. Lawrence Miller, Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery north of Ashland.
Luther Clatterbuck b. March 28, 1894, d. September 12, 1977
Luther Clatterbuck, 83, Ashland, died Monday evening at a Columbia hospital.Mr. Clatterbuck was born Mar. 28, 1894, in Callaway County, the son of Lorenzo and Carolina Clatterbuck.
He was a member of the Dry Fork Baptist Church in Callaway County. He was also a member of the Ashland American Legion Post No. 156. He was a veteran of World War I.
Mr. Clatterbuck was a retired farmer.
Survivors include: One sister, Mrs. Lucy May Hinshaw;
and one brother, Neuman Clatterbuck, both of Ashland.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Burnett Funeral Chapel, Ashland, with the Rev. Jerry Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Dry Fork Cemetery near Guthrie.
Luther never married.

Laura Clatterbuck b. October 17, 1897, d. April 13, 1924.
Miss Lollie Clatterbuck, 25 years old, whose home was near Englewood, died at 2:30 Sunday morning, April 13. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. E A. Jones. Deceased is survived by parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Frank married Lillian Merle Pitts on December 15, 1925. They had three children, 2 living and James Farest b. January 15, 1935 d. October 1984.
Lucy May Clatterbuck b. September 24, 1907 d. April 28,2007
She married Ernest Raymond Hinshaw on February 21, 1930.
He was born January 7, 1904 d. November 15, 1971.
Both are buried in New Salem Cemetery in Boone County, Missouri.
They had two children.
Services will bat at 2 pm Friday May 4, at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Lucy May was born Sept 24, 1907, in Callaway County, the daughter of the late James Lorenzo and Caroline Levina Clatterbuck. She was united in marriage to E.R. "Cherry" Hinshaw in 1930. He preceded her in death in 1971.
Lucy May grew up and resided for many years near Cedar Creek and the community of Englewood. She was instrumental in establishing the Englewood Club and Club House. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of the New Salem Baptist Church.
Lusy was "Mama Lu" to all her family, she later in life many of her friends also called her Mama Lu. Lucy said that to live in the hearts of others in not to die and wanted everyone not to think of her as gone, but simply in another room and with us always.
Survivors include her daughter, Connie F Waers and husband Joseph Allen St of Osage Beach; son, Fred Hinshaw and wife Janet of Columbia; grandchildren, Lucy Denise Cunningham and husband Scott of Shawnee, Kansas. Joseph Allne Waers Jr. and wife Candice of Shawnee, Kan. Todd Hinshaw Waers and wife Lora of Sacramento, Calif., Laura Jean Ingram and Husband Grand of Leawood Kan., great=grandchildren, Brett and Callie Ingram, Danielle Henisch, Bennett, Morgan and Jaoseph Allen III Waers; and great great grandchildren, Lucy Ann and Austin Michael Heinsch.
Lucy May came from a family of eight children, all of whom preceded her in death.
Neuman Clatterbuck b. August 8, 1909 d. March 28, 1983
Neuman Clatterbuck first married Laura Miller on October 9, 1936, he second married Marie Jeanette Stone on
July 22, 1951. He had no children.
Services will be at 2pm Thursday at Burnett Funeral Home in Ashland with the Rev. Jerry Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Dry Fork Cemetery in Callaway County. There will be no visitation.
Clatterbuck, a Boone County native was born Aug. 8, 1909 to Lorenzo and Carolina Clatterbuck. He was a retired insurance salesman and farmer and a member of Dry Fork Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jeanette Stone, one sister, Lucy May Hinshaw of Columbia and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family supports memorial contributions to the American Cancer society.
