      Nancy Clatterbuck

      Nancy Clatterbuck was born 1797 in Caroline County, Virginia, the daughter of Reuben Clatterbuck and Martha "Patsy" Griffin. She married George Dorton on August 14, 1816 in Shelby County, Kentucky. George's father is believed to be Lewis Dorton. George was born between 1794 and 1804. Nancy and George were in Callaway County, Missouri by 1830, and are listed as living with 9 children, whether they all are theirs is unknown. George died shortly after arriving in Callaway County, about 1833. There are five known children of Nancy and George: William, Reuben C., Willis E., Lewis, and Matilda Ann. Nancy is listed as a founding member of the Dry Fork Baptist Church. She died on March 18, 1857 and is thought to be buried in the Dorton Family Cemetery.       Reuben C. Dorton died about May 15, 1848
      Reuben married Eliza Ann Wilson on July 27, 1843,
      She was the daughter of Eli B. Wilson and Lucy. Reuben and Eliza had one child, Lucy A. b. abt 1846
      After Reuben died Eliza married Reuben's cousin, Moses Standley,
      son of John Allen Standley and Mary Elizabeth Clatterbuck.

      Matilda Ann Dorton
      Matilda married William Blythe on November 6, 1845.
      He was born on April 16, 1825, the son of John T. Blythe and Sallie Carter.
      She died before August 1849
      After Matilda's death, he married Maria Coonce on August 2, 1849.
      He died on April 26, 1903, and is buried in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
