Carpenter:
Starting with Thomas Carpenter (1810-1846) married to Nancy Conrad/Conard (1810-?)
There are two primary lineages of Carpenters in America: I am still trying to determine which line our Carpenters belong to.

German/Swiss Carpenter/Zimmermans
Hanson:
Starting with Ole (Olaus) Hanson/Hansen (1823-1896) married to Marit Olsdatter (1816-1907) Ole was born in Oslo, Akershus, Norway. Marit was also born in Norway, location unknown.
Oleson:
Starting with Ole Bjørnsen Bøe Eie (1812-1842) married to Gunnil Erlendsdatter (1816-1902). Ole was born in Eggedal, Sigdal, Buskerud, Norway. Gunnil was born in Hallingdal, Buskerud, Norway. Ole & Gunnil emigrated in 1842.
Zook:
Starting with Ulrich Zug (1690-1747) married to Barbara Bachman (1692-1758). Ulrich immigrated on the ship James Goodwill; it sailed from Rotterdam, Holland, Sept 27, 1727; port of arrival was Philadelphia.
KOREAN WAR PHOTOS & ROSTER:

with the 628th Tank Battalion, Company
B.
Korea: Army 24th Infantry Div.
21st Regiment. One of their first
assignments was on a hill called
"Old Baldy".
